Criteria for divinity

Zaktualizowano: 23 lip 2019

We can define the First Cause solely on the basis of its properties and activities.

What do I mean when I use this term? First of all, what it makes the matter is ordered. Something that makes, that there are certain laws by which matter is able to operate and at the same time all the time supervises the operation of these rules. How do I know that such a thing exists? Otherwise all our knowledge of physics, chemistry and biology would prove to be untrue. Our senses would fail. If the matter does not operate according to certain rules, why water always turns to ice at 0 degrees under normal conditions, and why without the help of technology it is impossible to cheat gravity? I would venture to say that the First Cause is also responsible for the creation of matter, whose formation would not be possible without the laws of nature. Humanity has taken lately challenge to create matter from light, boasting, that in this way completely to God receives His power. However, I believe that this is an experiment as any previous one, even with the in vitro - we not create something from nothing, only we discover one of the ways to produce an element of the universe. We work with the laws of nature, which we did not create anything and without which we would not have made. We can safely say that the First Cause we already meets two criteria divinity. Has control over the entire universe and to some extent we can call it the Creator. Because it has created and manages something as complex and consistent as our universe, or not mean that it has some kind of rationality? It sounds irrational, right? How is possible that something of the one of the natural forces or an elementary particle and has not body can think of? We are taught to perceive that only the owner of the physical brain can be regarded as an intelligent being. Intelligence always identify with this kind of rationality, what we have- the ability to process stimuli and respond to them. But the concept of this are also organizational skills. And is not this just a feature of the First Cause? Can we really be convinced that the creation of a complex system and management so that everything went into a coherent whole does not require an ounce of any kind of rationality, which may be closer to or completely different from that of the human? In my opinion the universe, and thus the First Cause is intelligent.

Another criterion of the divine is the immortality and eternity. The first of these terms is something that could have a beginning but has no end. The second refers to a being who has always existed and always will exist. To which of these concepts fit the First Cause? Our knowledge does not allow us to clearly determine. We can not say whether the matter and the laws of nature have always existed, or maybe in ancient times in some way formed. However, if we assign all control and creation to First Case it raises the thought that if there was ever a beginning, probably created itself. Otherwise it would have to be something above it, another first cause. And then it is the first cause of this should be considered in terms of divine qualities and also see it as eternal. It is logical, therefore, that First Case of entire universe is closer to eternity than to immortality. Another feature of divinity is perfection. But what exactly is it? It's hard to define this state, therefore, it would be better to answer the question: "What makes you say about perfection?" Usually the reason for such thoughts is to notice flaws elements that surround us. The more complex the part, the more faults we point out in it. While the root cause is the foundation of the whole, and thus should theoretically consist of only one element, if it is matter, or one particular course of action, if it is a different creature. Its activity seems to be carefully thought out and supervised by the system it never fails. So there is a great probability that if people embrace once the First Cause of their reason, probably they can not point out its flaws or showing its little, which will be close to a perfection. Only if such a scenario ever materialize? What a man, who is only a part of the First Cause would be able to determine the criteria by which it would judge?
